I'm Ryan, who just turned 16 around 1 month ago. Some of the milestones in my life include MBS, CCHMS, Bestest, Ringgit (RM), AlfieFukClarisse (Oops), Non-stop white chicks faces, Band, HCL, Mary's kaleidoscope of skinnies, Leah becoming Bosscar, Kelly Tang calmly deducting 10 marks from us for calling him Tang Tang, 3&4GR, Discovering HK Cafe's Papaya soup, french toast, and fish fillet, Mocking every single teacher that taught us, Marcus' brownies, Birthday @ Sentosa, Triangle jokes by our fellow friends (O.O), and dinners at sakae with endless cups of Chawanmushi.
I like snuggling up my blanket during thunderstorms, the scent of freshly printed paper, sipping starbuck's hot chocolate accompanied with their oreo cheescake, and hugging my dog when he gets afraid of the thunder.

ALFIE: What's with cliché song and prosaic skin.

Ryan: I don't know either ): But the cliched song beats your At The Beginning hands down (:And i dont see why i should be getting like flamboyant coloured skins, so whats wrong with it being prosaic (in your words)?

ALFIE: First things first, you dont have to be flamboyant to be prosaic. For the record, I didn't say there was anything wrong with it being prosaic. I merely said,"What's with cliché song and prosaic skin. & I see that you have inferred that I was trying to say there was something wrong with it, which is obviously not the case (:

Ryan: duh. flamboyant and prosaic are total opposites.Well, but 'What's with' is oftenly associated with 'What's wrong with', explaining my incorrect deductions. To add on, the terms you used such as 'cliched' and 'prosaic' are rather negative and caustic, to a certain extent, which accounts for my absolutely wrong assumptions.

ALFIE: (: You do realize that you have completely misinterpreted the word, "flamboyant" To set the record straight, flamboyant means striking, bold, outstanding? Prosaic on the flipside refers to unimaginative. What's with is associated with What's wrong with? Of all words to associate it with, you chose the word "wrong''. ''Cliched' and 'prosaic' are rather negative and caustic, to a certain extent" It seems to me that your "certain extent" is not on par with mine.

In what way have I misinterpreted the term 'flamboyant'? lets see... i mentioned that "flamboyant and prosaic are total opposites", and that "i didnt see the reason why i should be getting flamboyant coloured skins, resulting in the choice of this blogskin." So I'm guessing it was just weak comprehension skills on your part.

Judging by what you said yesterday, "First things first, you dont have to be flamboyant to be prosaic." You were trying to say that flamboyant and prosaic were somehow interrelated. You were actually the one who completely misunderstood the word 'flamboyant'.

What's with is associated with What's wrong with? Of all words to associate it with, you chose the word "wrong''. ''Cliched' and 'prosaic' are rather negative and caustic, to a certain extent" It seems to me that your "certain extent" is not on par with mine.
Lets say someone told you "What's with your passe/ cliched and prosaic/ boring coat?" How would you react? Thinking that he just insulted you (which is how most humans would feel) would be a completely wrong deduction (in accordance to you) . It was your poor choice of vocabulary that caused this little misunderstanding right from the start.

So how do you suppose I react after you described my blog as cliched and prosaic? Was i expected to sort of read you mind and know exactly your levels of extent on causticity & negativity, and henceforth be made known of your supposedly good and productive intentions?
Please, watch out for the vocabulary.(:
